Our Staff
The Legal Centre has a full time Executive Director/Staff Lawyer, two other Staff Lawyers, an Intake Worker, an Office Manager/Intake Worker, and a part-time Support Worker.
We will have a Justice and Health Partnership Manager as of July 1, 2019.
Our full-time social worker will transition to a full-time Justice and Health Partnership Manager as of July 1, 2019.
Everyone has a different specialty and those who help you will be match your specific legal problem.
All staff at the Legal Centre are engaged in direct client services.
Funding
The Legal Centre has four full time positions funded by Legal Aid Ontario: the executive director/staff lawyer, a staff lawyer, the community legal worker (this position is currently filled by a lawyer) and the office manager/intake worker.
The intake worker is funded by the Advocacy Centre for Tenants of Ontario.
Our part-time support worker is funded by the Eastern and Central Region Transformation Project (time limited project funding).
When funding is available, the Legal Centre may have an Articling Student.
The Justice and Health Partnership Manager will be funded by the Law Foundation of Ontario).
All staff are engaged in direct client services. There are no 100% administrative positions at the Legal Centre.

- Articling Student Position: (time limited project funding from HRSDC or LAO)
